FAQ’s for hiring FogoAzul NYC:
We do not have set rates for events, as each event is different in terms of time on site, number of drummers, etc Please fill out the form below to get a quote/rate.
We require a safe space to keep our personal belongings, access to a safe changing area, access to a bathroom, and access to drinking water.
Please note everyone in Fogo Azul NYC has full time jobs. We prefer phone calls as opposed to Zoom. If a phone call is necessary, we kindly request it be kept to less that 15 minutes.
For safety reasons we cannot go up or down ANY stairs WHILE drumming.
For sound purposes, we cannot split the band in half/portions while performing
If your event is outside of the 5 boros of NYC, and/or not public transportation accessible, we ask that you reimburse costs of rental vans, cars, buses, or taxi fee
We have extensive general liability insurance. If your requirements are more than our current coverage, we request you to pay the difference of additional insurance premiums.
FogoAzul NYC reserves the right to determine how many drummers would be best for any given venue, and what costuming we will wear. If you have specific costumes in mind that we do not own, you are responsible for procuring, logistics, and funding of the costumes you desire.
It's important to note, we are not amplified, and do not require microphones, and therefore a sound check is not necessary in most instances. If you want us to come for a "sound check" prior to the event, this may include an extra fee for the extra time.
If your event is outside in a public space, or park, we may ask you to supply us a copy of the permit approval from the city agency for the event.
